Brandon was a co-founder of Brazilian Basics, a nutritional supplement marketer, before joining Icelandirect in 2009 as Senior VP of Sales and President in 2014. He has since been promoted to CEO, overseeing all of Icelandirect’s import, distribution, manufacturing and packaging operations including product development, sourcing, and developing strategic products within the health and wellness industry. Brandon’s prior experience includes sales management at The Career Center in New York. He has a B.A. from the University of Missouri.
Rajae is responsible for the Finance, IT & HR functions along with being a liaison for any legal matters. Prior to Icelandirect Rajae leveraged his experience in creating processes/policies and back office operations for a wide range of companies in the manufacturing (Clio, Nexira and William Demant) and service (Fjord and Alloy Media) industries. Rajae has existence experience helping set up startup companies, change management, financial planning and analysis, accounting, auditing, compliance, legal, human resources, and logistics. Rajae holds a M&A certificate from Stanford, MBA from Montclair, Masters in International Relations and BA in Finance from Kean.
As the Chief Operating Officer, Darryl is tasked with working collaboratively with his counterparts to set, implement, and consistently meet the company’s strategic workflow plan, business objectives and culture. Previously, he held various production and senior operations management roles in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical/dietary supplements industries, most notably, 15 years with the Solgar, Inc., a division of Nature’s Bounty. Most recently he served in a Director of Operations capacity with Naturex, a leading raw material supplier to the nutraceutical, food and personal care industries and Combocap Health, a proprietary dietary supplements capsule manufacturer. Darryl is a Seton Hall University alumna, avid sports and music enthusiast and a loving father.
VP of Operations
Andrea has many years of experience with Icelandirect and prior positions centered in operations and logistics. As a result of her strong background in this particular field, Andrea successfully solves organizational and operational issues, builds strong customer confidence while producing results. Prior to joining Icelandirect, Andrea worked at ECHO Design Group and Atlantic Detroit Diesel Allison and has over ten years of experience in transportation, logistics and project management. She has a BA in Psychology and Spanish Literature from Rutgers University.
VP of Marketing & Packaging
Kale was the founder of KEX Consulting which provides turnkey design and marketing solutions for dietary supplement brands. Design services included logo and package design, product renderings and Amazon infographics while marketing services included SEO, paid search, cost-per-action campaigns and complete ecommerce web site development. With years of experience in the field of online marketing, he was instrumental in the success of Brazilian Basics, Brazilian Acai and Boomer Berry DRTV campaigns. Kale has a B.S. in Marketing from University of Missouri-Columbia.
Nick brings to Icelandirect a customer-centric approach. His background includes sales and distribution management at DSM Nutritional Products, one of the world’s largest vitamin, nutraceutical, and nutritional lipid suppliers. Nick launched his career at DSM in sales where he quickly emerged as a top sales performer by focusing on new business development, new product launches, and customer brand growth. He rose to the position of manager of DSM’s North American distribution partnerships and oversaw the growth of this emerging channel. Nick holds a B.S in Biology and MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Commercial Manager & Business Development
Greg brings to Icelandirect a full complement of customer service support to ensure complete business satisfaction. Additionally, he comes with a strong customer service background in the healthcare industry and more recent experience in sales as an Account Executive with Koyo Cooling Systems, Inc. Greg holds a B.A. in Communication and an M.A. in Leadership Studies and Public Administration from Centenary College of New Jersey.
Taylor brings to Icelandirect a well-rounded background in exercise science and nutritional studies as well as customer service and marketing skills. After graduating Rutgers University with a B.S. degree in Exercise Science, Taylor continued her education by obtaining her personal fitness trainer certification through the Athletics and Fitness Association of America. Taylor was originally hired as the customer service manager at Icelandirect and quickly expanded her role to purchasing, sourcing, and account management. Taylor has always had a compelling interest in the health and wellness arena and continues today with creating/selling supplements, personal training, and competing in fitness competitions.
Samantha excels at understanding and matching a customer’s needs and expectations, both immediate and in the future. She holds a B.S. from Rutgers University in Psychology. As Customer Service Manager, Samantha is the liaison between the customer and Icelandirect’s Production Department, assuring that the lines of communication remain open. She combines her passion, experience, and ability to develop long-term relationships with existing and new customers. Her philosophy is that everyone has an important part to play in customer service and she works hard to identify the customer’s needs. As a true professional Samantha will always go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations. Furthermore, she has a pro-active and “can-do” attitude with exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Nina joins Icelandirect with a deep understanding of keeping the customer central to the process. Her background includes customer service and sales at DSM Nutritional Products, one of the world’s largest vitamin, nutraceutical, and nutritional lipid suppliers. Nina launched her career at DSM in Customer Service where she quickly excelled as a top performer by understanding the customer’s needs and expectations. Moving to sales she supported new business development, new product launches, and customer growth. Nina holds a B.A in Communications and a minor in Business Management from SUNY Cortland. Nina’s abilities and industry experience makes her a strong asset and a welcome addition to the Icelandirect sales team.
Abigail comes from a strong background in softgel contract manufacturing. Initially, working in supply chain management at Aspire Pharmaceuticals, she learned the importance of ingredient sourcing in the nutritional industry. She is looking forward to using this experience and her interpersonal skills to help serve the industry and her customers. Abigail holds a B.A in Psychology from Pace University where she excelled as an All-American lacrosse player. She has continued her education with obtaining her 200 hour Yoga Teacher certification and is excited to continue her passion for health and wellness within the industry.
Alexia brings to Icelandirect an entrepreneurial background with sales, customer service, marketing, and social media experience. Additional she has a strong background in clinical nutrition and working in the healthcare industry. Alexia holds a B.S. in Nutrition and Food Science from Montclair State University and an M.S. in Holistic Nutrition from the American College of Healthcare Sciences.
After graduating from Montclair State University with a BA in Communications, Fallon worked as a Sales Coordinator in the Charter Bus Industry working to organize sales transactions and guide customers through the sales process seamlessly. Fallon’s expertise in corporate vision, while maintaining a customer centered approach, makes her a valuable asset to the Icelandirect team.

Having significant experience in previous positions with pharmaceutical and nutritional supplement companies, she is fully versed in implementing and maintaining strict controls, scheduling, and analysis throughout the production process. Regulatory Affairs & Product Development Manager
Nidia brings to Icelandirect a wide background as quality control/assurance, regulatory affairs, and product development. She has over 25 years of work experience in the nutritional, pharmaceutical, and food industries. Nidia researches, generates, and directs new product formulation from conceptualization through development and manufactures and assist in the development of new products. She also works closely with the Operations Team and Contract manufacturers to troubleshoot technical, formulation, and processing issues that might occur during the process. Nidia maintains a high degree of relevant knowledge and expertise with respect to quality control/assurance systems, new technologies, and new product dosage forms. Nidia holds a B.S. Chemical Engineering and she is Member of the Regulatory Affairs Professionals (RAPS).
Angie spent 13 years at Reliance Vitamin Company with extensive experience managing the distribution fulfillment center, inventory, customer invoicing and customer service. She is excited to join the Icelandirect team and use her past experience to help grow the Company. Angie has a degree from Union County College.
Maja’s many years of accounting experience in various industries has made her a well-rounded professional who balances attention to detail with a consultative touch. Her experience extends not only to the United States but overseas as well. In addition to a strong accounting background Maja is technologically savvy. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Management from the Higher Business School of Leskovac, Serbia.
Edgar graduated in 2009 from Lehman College with a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Since then, he has been working in the Quality sector for more than 12 years in different industries but mainly Food and nutraceuticals. He has several different quality certifications such as: ISO 9001 and 22000 Lead auditor certificates, HACCP certificate, and Preventive Control Qualified Individual (PCQI) Certificate.
Walter brings years of valuable warehouse experience to the Icelandirect team. He ensures the warehouse operates at optimal efficiency. A skilled manger, Walter overseas all aspects of the warehouse. He helps makes sure our clients' orders are produced and completed in a timely manner. When not at work, Walter enjoys spending time with his two daughters.
Mark H. Stenberg
Mark was the founder and CEO of Iceland Health, Inc. which was acquired in a 2006 merger with Nutrition 21, Inc. (NXXI), a Nasdaq-traded public company. Under Mark’s stewardship Iceland Health became the largest selling brand of omega-3 in the U.S. Mark is a founding member of Icelandirect and served as CEO from 2010 until 2021. Prior to coming to the supplement industry, Mark spent 20 years in the computer industry founding and subsequently selling seven computer-related enterprises. He has an MBA from University of Virginia. He specializes in nutraceutical marketing, FDA/FTC regulation, finance, business development and administration, and systems analysis and design.
